Geotex Construction Services, Inc.

Our Story

Geotex Company was incorporated in 1990 by a group of investors, which included Rich Clark, to perform underground storage tank removal in Central Ohio. Due to significant competition, Rich realized this business model would not prove to be profitable in the long term. In July 1992, Rich and two of the original investors formed Geotex Construction Services, Inc. The new entity was created to provide site development services on small to medium-sized commercial construction projects in Central Ohio.

Geotex Construction Services was built on Rich’s belief in three core values: quality, integrity, and safety. Rich knew that Geotex Construction Services' success would be solely dependent on the efforts of our dedicated employees. Many of those people who helped Geotex Construction Services grow are still employed today.

In 2017, Rich converted Geotex Construction Services into a 100% employee-owned company. At the end of 2019, Rich stepped down from his position as CEO and turned the company over to the employees that helped build the company.

Currently, Geotex Construction Services is continuing to grow under new leadership but maintains the founding core values of quality, integrity, and safety. Family was added to the list of core values in 2021 to help recognize Geotex Construction Services' employee-owned culture and to continue with Rich’s legacy of taking care of his people.
